Carpet that had stopped looking like carpet

Light carpet shows everything, and once soil has worked down into the fibre no amount of vacuuming brings the colour back. This is a driver footwell before and after hot water extraction: the same carpet, nothing dyed and nothing covered over.

Winter, in a footwell

Every Iowa car ends up with this by February. Salt and grit come off boots onto the mat, then off the mat into the sill and the rocker, and it stays there until someone pulls the mat out and washes underneath it.

One Highlander, three areas

A deep clean is not one photogenic corner. This is the same three-row Highlander at the front seats, the second row, and the cargo area, on the same visit.

Outside, up close

Paint hides less than people expect at arm's length. This is the same door and rocker on a white pickup, before and after an exterior detail: the badge and the panel gap cleaned out, not just the flat panel wiped over.
